Description
Part of my halloween costume this year. Going as Amanda Young from the first "Saw" movie. Of course that meant I was going to be making the reverse bear trap she wore, and here is my final product. Know it's not an exact replica, some pieces I used don't exactly look like what was on the mask, but I'm proud of it.
I used wiring, cardboard, and paper mache for the base, then used several bolts and nuts I found around the house to contrust the overall exterior. Used blank CDs for the gears, the hex bolts and lock I bought at home depot. Then I spray painted it.
Overall, I'd say this cost about $15 to do and was extremely cheap. Took a little over a week (being as how I worked on it a couple hours a night). I used this site for a tutorial, ([link]) but did mass amounts of research on images to try to get it as close as the original as possible.
